How It Works: The Process
Feeding: Irregular pellets from previous processes (e.g., granulation, drying) are fed continuously and evenly into the inlet of the Pellet Polishing Machine.
Rounding & Polishing: The pellets enter the gently rotating, inclined drum. Under centrifugal and frictional forces, they are carried up the drum wall before cascading down in a continuous "waterfall" motion. This action creates intense rolling, sliding, and compaction among the pellets and against the lining, progressively Rounding and Polishing them into perfect spheres.
Grading & Discharge: After a precisely controlled residence time (determined by drum length, angle, and speed), the pellets with the desired roundness and smoothness are discharged through a screen at the drum's end. The different models (Single to Three-Stage) achieve varying levels of finish by adjusting internal geometry, rotational speed, and material path.
Finished Product Collection: The smooth, dense, and polished spherical pellets are conveyed out for subsequent cooling, coating, or packaging processes.
